The Dragon Boat Festival, which falls on the 5th May of the Chinese lunar calendar each year, has also come to an end with the final dragon boat race.

Since 2011, dragon boat racing has become a national intangible cultural heritage, meaning that the significance of the race is not to win the race, but to commemorate and inherit culture.
