The Value of Sustainable Packaging

According to a new survey, 60 percent of consumers worldwide prefer to buy products from companies that are environmentally friendly and highly socially responsible. In addition, the survey found that consumers are willing to pay a premium for products in sustainable packaging.

Yet do today's brands truly understand the value of sustainability - especially when it comes to luxury?

Sustainability, however, does not mean abandoning design. Sustainability and visually appealing products are not contradictory. Brands still need to think differently about how to connect with consumers through design, while also having to be aware of the environmental and social impact of their products and packaging.
