"Ice City" Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, has officially launched the one-month countdown to the 9th Asian Winter Games, set to begin on February 7, 2025. 

Among the events, mixed doubles curling, ski mountaineering, and synchronized freestyle skiing aerials will make their debut at the Games, it revealed. With 34 national Olympic committees confirmed, the Games will feature 1,275 athletes competing across 64 events in six sports.
