Hong Kong's fireworks display on October 1 will mark the city's celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, as well as the arrival of two baby panda cubs and a pair of adult pandas gifted by Beijing.
The display will showcase 31,888 fireworks, starting with a stunning array of red stars and purple flowers, representing elements from both the Chinese and local flags. Following that, there will be giant smiley faces, heart designs, green sparkles, and cascading waterfalls that evoke a bamboo forest. The grand finale will conclude at 9:28 PM, with the entire display lasting 23 minutes.
Set against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour, the fireworks will depict eight scenes designed to celebrate China's achievements and spread joy.
