Mid-Autumn Festival, Zhongqiu Jie (中秋节) in Chinese, is also known as the Mooncake Festival or the Moon Festival. In 2023, it falls on September 29th. 

In China, it is a family reunion time. We celebrate it by gathering for dinners, worshiping the moon, lighting lanterns, eating moon cakes, etc. 

Mid-Autumn Festival is a time of good will. Many of us send cards or short messages during the festival to express our best wishes to family and friends.
