Carlsberg launched a paper bottle in late 2019 as seen in the picture below.

Diageo, the world’s biggest producer of whisky, has announced recently it will launch early next year its first ever 100% paper-based spirits bottle for the mainstream market as well.

The paper bottles are designed and developed to be fully recyclable and they are to be made from sustainably sourced pulp to meet food-safe standards.
