We were very pleased to meet our old friend Erik in Hong Kong January 28, 2019, who is the founder of Goossens Chocolate. We have been cooperating for several years.

Erik showed us all of his current packaging in use, and we discussed some new packaging projects for 2019. There is a closer cooperation to come in the following time.

During the meeting, Erik said it’s very cold in Belgium right now and snowing everywhere. He shared with us the design stories behind each unique chocolate. When it came to explore Chinese chocolate market, he said they were still in the exploring and trying stage while struggling to overcome challenges such as suitable retailer options, fresh material supply etc, but they feel confident about China market and we are also looking forward to that day when we can enjoy Goossens chocolates bought easily here.

Good times always pass by quickly, Erik presented us some delicious handmade chocolate he took from Belgium as New Year gifts, and we also prepared a Chinese ceramic cup for him. 

At last, we extended heartfelt New Year Greetings to Erik and his family and we hope and look forward to Erik’s visit to our Shenzhen office next time.
