Global Champagne Sales Exceed 6 Billion

The champagne makers are "cautiously optimistic" about the industry's future prospects after reporting sales growth of 1.6% in 2022.

A surge in exporting other than domestic sales of champagne in France has driven moderate volume growth from 321.8 million bottles in 2021 to 325.9 million last year. Value sales also topped the €6 billion mark for the first time, showing that the sector is currently relatively unaffected by the pandemic.

In 2023, we look forward to having more cooperation opportunities with customers in wine and spirits industry around the world.
