Three Taikonauts will celebrate Chinese New Year in space

On October 16, 2021, the Long March 2F carrier rocket lifted the Shenzhou 13 manned spacecraft from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and carried three taikonauts into space.

After Shenzhou-13 successfully docked with the orbiting Tianhe module, the crew Zhai Zhigang,Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu entered Tianhe space station core cabin.

They are expected to return to earth in April 2022, which means they will celebrate a special, unforgettable Chinese Lunar New Year in space.

Proud of taikonauts!
