China Import and Export Fair, also known as Canton Fair, was established in 1957. At present ,the 130th Canton Fair is ongoing online.

For the first time, the Canton Fair from this session now has its own mascots. They are Haobao and Haoni.

Haobao is a boy's name. Bao is a homonym of Bee, which means precious. It symbolizes that the Canton Fair is a shining treasure in the history of China's foreign trade development. Haoni, a girl's name, is a homophony of Honey, which means friendship and symbolizes that the Canton Fair is a bond of friendship and a bridge of trade. 

The names of the two mascots begin with "Hao", meaning good sellers, good buyers, good China, good world, good even better!
