Seppeltsfield adds NFC tags to wine bottles

Recently Australian wine estate Seppeltsfield launched NFC tags applied bottles for it’s new wine release, which is adding value and new sale point to the wine product, including:

(1)guaranteeing authenticity and verifying the wine bottle has not been opened before your purchase;

(2)providing multiple information & experience to consumer just by a small tap to the NFC tag with a smart phone.

“Whilst we are expanding our luxury wine collection globally, it is very important we are at the forefront of innovation, so we are taking a proactive approach and investing in technology to ensure wine authenticity,” says Seppeltsfield Barossa executive chairman Warren Randall.
